How to incorporate greens with every meal

Hola Chicas! I have a food confession to make.

I have the hardest time eating my greens. I shy away from salads, I stay away from the greens sides I know I should eat them, I know it's good for me but I just can't get myself to eat them. Thank God That's all in the past now. I have figure out fun ways to incorporate greens with my meal and even get my kids to eat their greens too.

See two year ago my kids and I got back our doctor's report and we all had low irons. I already knew the one thing I dislike more than my greens is medecine!
I I begin to make an effort to eat more greens, I started with spinach in smoothies and graduate to actually eating them.

Eat a side of Greens with breakfast!

I figure the reason I can take spinach in my smoothies is because the banana and strawberries take over the taste make it like it was there.

Most greens have mild taste that can be over power by more tasty spices you would enjoy eating.

My breakfast ones is sprinkled with light salt and pepper and drizzled with olive oil.
Eat a side of Greens with lunch!

For my lunch one I still sprinkle salt and pepper but also added some Jerk seasoning, no olive oil this time since I'm just stuffing these in a sandwich!

Eat a side of Greens with Dinner!

When you have a side of fried chicken anything else taste good I say no extra spice required for this one.

Switch off your greens! Spinach is not the only one. I experience with Spinach, Collards, Swiss Chards, and my fave of all Arugula!

You can mix it all up and add your favorite spices.

How do you take your greens?

Visit Disney World With Kids: 4 Fun Things To Do At Epcot

A friend of the family went to Disney with her kids and she told me her kids didn't like Epcot, "it was boring" They say!

My eyes nearly pop out of my head.

SAY WHAT?

Epcot is one of the funnest park at Disney. My kids love Epcot! My daughter even pick Epcot as her birthday gift. We have annual pass which mean to drive there quite a lot, we are never tired of Epcot.

So I put together a few of our favorites things to do at Epcot.

1.Make passport and Visit different countries

You can buy little passport books from guest relations or make your own before you go. We made our own, since we were making passports for our dolls too. Epcot has an elaborate showcase of cultures from different countries. You can visit China, Mexico, France, Norway just to name a few without leaving the park.
We get our passport stamp each places we go. In France and Mexico we speak french and Spanish for other paces we faked our accents and pretend we speaking their language lol! It was such a blast when we went through the UK and met with Mary Poppins we were kinda stuck in that accent for a while lol

2.Travel through spaces

When you're done traveling through the continent, you can extend your travel to space! There is a simulated space ride that make you feel like a real astronaut. If that's not enough you can get on the star wars space ride and travel through magical and enchanted places.

3. Travel under water

Epcot has a whole marine life showcase. You can play with Nemo and all his underwater friends, get up close and personal with manatees if you have a scuba license you can even dive. How fun is that?

4. Train to be a surgeon

There's this simulated 3d surgery program, my kids love that thing. It says that the program is actually used to train surgical students (I may be wrong) but you can feel like a real surgeons playing this game. We hog that machine for hours, I had to peel my kids off of it so other people can use it lol

Epcot for our family is a blast!
Ever been to Epcot?
What's your favorite attraction?

Hello From Liberty State Park

Hola Chicas!
I hope summer is as awesome for you as it is for for me. We are exploring New York and New Jersey, visiting with friends and family and enjoying our summer.

We were the Liberty state park, out of all the cool stuff there, we were particularly interested in the old train hangard.

We had so much fun playing and pretending to catch the train and whatnot. We tried to take some pictures, but the girls were mostly behind the lenses as you can see LOL.

For some reason I really love the blurry, cutoff shots.

How is your summer so far? What have you been up to? any of you traveling?

Visit Disney World With Kids: 5 Tips For Making The Most Of Your Trip

Today is the official start of the summer! Although I started my summer weeks ago today is the official summer solstice, and most people are heading to their favorite vacations spots, for those of us heading to Disney here are some tips for you!
I got the idea the other day while on Facebook and one of my pals was asking for tips about her upcoming Disney trip with her family. So I started telling her a few of my trusted tricks. She told me since I'm such a connoisseur I should write a Disney manual LOL

yeah... no I don't think I need to do all that, but I did think post was needed.

Hope this helps!

Tip 1: Plan your day

As much as I am a spur of the moment person who is completely allergic to planning, I find planning my day before heading to the Disney park very important and beneficial.

By planning I mean pick the 3 most important attractions at the park you have got to visit. Whether it is Visiting Cinderella, flying with peter pan or ride space mountain... pick your top three and schedule them in your FASTPASS, which you can do on the Disney website. or APP. This will save you so much time standing in line and you'll know if anything else fail  you got to do your 3 most important things.

Tip 2: Bring your own bottles of water

I don't know about the other parks but here in Orlando, FL is it most likely hot and water breaks are a necessity for EVERYONE, which mean more line. Having your own will definitively save you time standing in line, money and avoid a catastrophe like waiting for Anna and Elsa for hours, then you're 3rd in line and your kids starts crying for water and you didn't have any. Not a good thing at all!

Tip 3: Bring your own snacks
Just like the water problem snacks are kinda necessary too. When you're loaded with snack it helps saves time, money and keep you sane.
The last thing you need is a case of the "Hangry" also known as anger brought by hunger. Not cool!
Disney fun also equal lot of standing in line, you want it to be fun and endearing. Waiting on an empty stomach is no fun!

Tip 4: Bring a fully charged phone

or even a backup Wi-Fi enabled tablet or something. I don't need to even tell you to keep your phone charged up, I think it's become second nature for all of us. Now the reason I say this besides the Facebook and instagram shares of cute photos of princesses. You will want to use the Disney APP.

Tip 5: Download  the Disney World experience app

The Disney APP is extra magical
Once you are on the property there's a GPS locating features that tell you where you are, what's nearby with wait time.  I absolutely love this app, for a direction challenge person like me, my biggest fears when i went for the first time was that i would spend my day getting lost looking for things, but the app give step by step directions. which helps maximizing my time. while waiting for my schedule meeting with Cinderella on my FastPast, I can catch the Mickey Philharmagic 3D show, ride the carousel, and take a few pictures with Gaston by the bridge all without leaving the area and be on time for my schedule FastPast.

on the app you can schedule your FastPass, make changes to them. Check out what's going on around you. There are things about Disney you may not even know about them the app will say there's a show 10ft from you and wait time is 10mn #score! you can also make dinner reservation basically everything you can do on the site plus the added features I told you about.

Walmart Family Mobile Helps Me #Save4summer Fun

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and Walmart Family Mobile. All opinions are mine alone. #Save4Summer #CollectiveBias #sponsored

I've always loved a good deal! who doesn't? I always go out of my ways to stretch my dollars. Now even more so after being unemployed and trying to build a business finding new ways to cut my family budget down is a priority.

My kids are learning too by the look of it. One get super excited, the other checked all the facts. She literally read every single word on the packaging.

She said mommy did you know with the Walmart Family Mobile plan you get 4G LTE service and it's only  $29.88/month (for the first line) Unlimited Talk, Text & Data service plan? and the Alcatel One Touch Pop Astro is perfect size for my hands? LOL she was working an angle!

BTW:
  •  All prices for phones and plans included in this post are accurate as of the date of posting; however, these prices are subject to change. Please refer to http://cbi.as/8e03 or your local Walmart for current pricing.

This summer my baby niece was getting dedicated and with school out and me NOT being tie to a 9-5 we decided to make a vacation out it.

So to New York we go!

I thought it was a great idea to get the girls their own phone as a safety measure just in case God forbid we get separated like that would ever happen my mom is with us and she watches them like a hawk.

Plus with father's day around the corner they wanna be able to call their dad whenever they want and where ever we are. We have a lot people up here, we are going back and forth so they wanna be covered if we endup somewhere where wi-fi is scarce.

Three years ago I decided to cut the cord and rip the cellphone contract. I'm always on the look out for better prices and better services.  When I came across the Walmart Family mobile plan with 4GLTE with this cute super fast, slick and portable  Alcatel One Touch Pop Astro with amazing coverage. I knew we found a match.

Safety measures: Check
Keep in touch with daddy while away: check

However at the moment the phone is being use to document our trip to the zoo.

Take selfies, and narration videos of EVERYTHING we are doing! #annoying

and of course GPS locating!

It bring me such joy to see them so happy enjoying their summer, creating long lasting memory and able to record it all. The Walmart family plan is so affordable I didn't have to cut any corners or sacrifice our vacay. we get all the great service for a fraction of the price. with the money I save I think we are going to pay Ms Lady Liberty a visit since today is her birthday!

what would you do with the money you saved?
