NewsLetter: Why should you sign up?

Hello ladies and possible gents!
(by the way any men in the house? chime in)

Let me start by saying how much I appreciate you taking the time to read listen to me, I love to interact with you guys, and stay connected as much as possible. It use to be fun connecting through social media and whatnot but nowadays social media have become a bit too noisy. It's like we're all yelling over each other trying to say something but no one is listening because it's too loud!

Another thing is while Facebook use to be a good intimate way to stay in touch, it is not so anymore, Facebook hide my post to almost 90% of you guys, in an attempt to force me to pay for advertising so even though you've liked my page you'll most likely won't see my posts.

With that said...

I believe it's time to go back to the old school email joint!

You'll never miss and update, you get to read it at your own pace, save and archive what you like and the best part you would have chosen what you want to read not what Facebook said you can.

I promise I will never spam you, you will only get what you sign up for, things pertaining to my blog and activities. You can unsubscribe at any time no obligations.

with all that said HERE IS how you do it! Just enter your email in that little box
Easy Peasy

Looking forward to connecting with you in a non- insane way!

The Sally Hansen Total Knock Out 7 in One Nail Polish

This is the big reveal!

This is one VoxBox I was extra excited about. I have such a thing for nail polish, when I found out that influenster was sending me this box of goodies I was over the moon!

This new Sally Hansen Total Knock Out is perfect for busy/lazys like me who like to stay away from multiple steps. This 7 in one polish do it all in one shot.

These nail polishes are a time saver! they contain Base Coat, Strengthener, Growth Treatment, Color, Top Coat, Chip Resistant, and Gel Shine!

In this picture, I added 2 coats, it does have the gellish finish, bright and shinny. The brush is very smooth makes for a nice finish.

The only beef I have with this nail polish, it didn't last 10 days like it promises, and it did chip then again even my expensive salon gel manicure who suppose to last 2 weeks chips after 3 days.
Maybe it is due to my hand in water lifestyle who knows?
either way the Polish were really nice, the colors are popping, application were easy and best of all it was free! beat all odds by my standard!

Have you tried the Sally Hansen Total Knock Out Nail Polish? What was your experience?

#OOTD: Colored thights

Hola Chicas!
It's been another "winter" day to steer away from my black uniform I decide to throw in some pink tights, pushing me wayyyyy outside of my comfort zone.
I've had these tights for the longest, I have some blue one that I've attempted to wear three times but I could never go through with it. There pink ones seems like the less obnoxious ones.
What did you think? pass or flap?

I'm Sprouting - How To Sprout And The Benefit of Sprouting

Sprouting is one of the quickest and easiest ways to pack a group of nutrients into your body in just one handful.

Sprouts are incredibly nutritious; Studies show remarkable levels of B Vitamins, as well as Vitamins C, E and A (up to 15 times the original content!). Some folks refer to sprouts as "pre-digested" food due to this breaking down process in the sprouting stage of life. This makes the sprouts far easier to digest than the original seed.
Sprouts can be eaten at any meal to help the digestive process along and keep raw living nutrition pumping through your blood.
So with all that said I decide to give it a try.

Here's the how to:
day 1: I soak the lentil over night

Day 2: In the morning I rinse them off and laid them in a plate cover with a damped paper towel
Day 3: I rinse again and repeat

Day 4: the lentils had sprouted all the way and were ready to eat
I mixed in sprouted lentils, shredded lettuce, "meaty taco fillings", corns, crushed taco shells
So yummy, I added cheese to mine but you can choose to skip the cheese
ENJOY! Let me know if you tried it.

When the spirit is low wear the heels high!

Hola Chicas!

This week have been a long emotional week, nevertheless we made it.
If you're follow me on facebook you might have seen me talking about our youth pastor that pass away. So it's been a pretty sad week. We're sad to see him go but again I know he is partying it up in the presence of almighty God. We have hope.

We made it to Friday almost everybody's day of the week, and hopefuly some of us we'll be off on Monday too. Salute to Dr Martin Luther King Jr, We shall Continue to dream.

I'll be wrapping up my daniel fast this Monday, I'm excited to be back on the chicken wings! Strangely enough, I haven't "miss" meat all that much. I had a bigger problem staying away from bread.

I don't know where I heard this saying from, something about keep confidence high and heels higher. Well I think I'm going to come up with my own:

"When the spirit is low wear the heels high!"

I'm on my high heels *do I know you*?!?! LOL

Happy Friday everyone!

By the way: For those of you that have kids, how do you talk to them about Martin Luther King Jr without getting in all the negavite racist details?

Joy comes in the morning

Morning doesn't nessarily have an AM next to it. It's the time when you decide that outside circumstances will not take away my smile TODAY!

and makes that same decision the next day and the next one.
Everyday will carry it's own garbage that will threathen to steal your joy, and wipe the smile of your face, if you are not pre-determine it will succeed.
We can't let that happen now can we?
Look fab and SMILE!

Dressfirst: Kindle My Inner Queen

I love dressing up! I mean dressing UP!
Not the regular trendy, casual kind of dress up but royal dress up. Queen status kind of dressing up.

You guys remember when I tiara’ed up for that banquet? I love a long formal dress with a bust so tight, you automatically start walking with your arms in a queenly stand… if that makes any sense.

Formal events like weddings, prom, galas, banquet… they do not come around often, so when they do I like to take advantage and kindle my inner queen.

Achieving queen status isn’t cheap! Luckily DressFirst, leading online retailer of stylish, affordable dresses, has a dress for every occasion and every budget.

Whether you’re in need of a prom dress, wedding dress, cocktail dress, holiday dress, homecoming dress, gala, banquet, black tie affairs… they’ve got you covered

They’ve got dresses to compliment any shape, in almost every color you can think of.  The dresses are very affordable so you don’t even have to worry about breaking the bank. Every week they have deals on dresses and accessories sometimes up to 85% off top with plus free shipping!

You guys know how much I love FREE shipping!

I can’t yet speak of the quality of the dresses or the customer service, but my annual banquet is soon coming up (you know the one I went last year when I wore the tiara?) I will definitely be looking for this long purple tutu kind of dress for my event.

If not this one I got my eyes also on this one too

doesn’t the bottom of this dress look just like the dress I wore last year to my banquet?

Or this simple black one.

So elegant!

Have you or someone you know ever try DressFirst? What did you get? How was the experience?

If it’s your first time hearing about them you can check out their website at dressfirst.com for more info or even some window shopping.
