As you all know, I suffer from chronic hair boredom! I’ve tried natural hair curlers, CVS hair dye… Over the summer, I experimented with locks #EpicFail. It was cute while it lasted until I couldn’t stand it anymore, I was bored and wanted something new. I wore my wild afro for a while until I could figure out what to do next. I contemplated a cut, but I just had a cut and color not too long ago. It felt redundant!
I started on freshly washed, moisturized, and stretch hair! I went through the first half like a breeze. It took about 14 minutes to straighten the first half of my hair. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and painless it was.
The plates glide smoothly and distribute even heat to smooth out the hair at first pass.
I think the HSI and I made a great team, we did a fantastic job! I love my new look, and I’m considering straightening my hair more once it gets cooler.

WHY NATURAL HAIR? A SIMPLE PHYSICAL CHANGE BUT A POWERFUL STATEMENT: BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL
Your hair looks gorgeous! I've been thinking about a lot but I think I would miss my big natural hair too much. Maybe some faux Locs but we'll see. How long did it last? When I get blowouts, I stretch them for 2 months.
I want the faux locks too. I was worried it would be too heavy. My straight job didn't last long, I live in FL it's hot and humid and rainy and I'm careless. I'm gonna try it again when it cool down I'll have better luck!
