Thanks to the wonderful people at DriveShop for providing me with the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander to test for a week. All opinions expressed here are my own.
I only have two kids, so a crossover car with a good trunk is usually big enough for my family except on days we have play dates and visiting friends and family.
This summer is pretty low key for us, we stayed local for the most part, staycationing. We've been driving a lot going to the beach, water park and local attractions. For my staycation this summer, I had the opportunity to drive the new Mitsubishi Outlander for a little while.
It was amazing!
From it's huge trunk to the surprise third row this car is like a dream!
I don't know how we missed it, I didn't realize this car had a hidden third row until we were in the middle of packing a second car to fit our visitors when my daughter peeked in the back and told me there were some chairs in the back. I thought she was talking about the beach chairs LOL
but it was a surprise third row! It made my day.
The new Mitsubishi Outlander is such a quiet ride, you can barely hear the engine running, it has to be one of the quietest cars I've ever driven.
Another one of my favorite features is the ecomode. It let you know if your driving is eco friendly by adding a leaf to your driving tree. As you can see my tree was full! #score on the eco friendly tree award.
This car is loaded with all the latest techs, GPS navigation (You guys know how I feel about navigation LOL I love it and my life depends on it.), satellite radio, temperature control for driver and passenger.
My kids went banana over the sunroof, they have a thing for sunroofs.
Mitsubishi Outlander is outfitted with leather seats, sunroof, hidden third-row seats and safety features such as blind-spot monitoring, back camera, lane change sensors
This here is the Eco Mode. You get a leaf on the little tree for being an eco-friendly driver. As you can see my little tree is full! #brushMyshoulder
