MARVEL Avengers: Age of Ultron - Role Playing Family Event

MARVEL’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #AvengersUnite #CollectiveBias

MARVEL's Avengers: Age of Ultron Sweeps - $4,500 Prize Value

My love for Avengers started way back when my crazy uncle gave a stash of comics book for Christmas. I have a weird family, we would watch TV on a schedule. I'm still rolling my eyes 25 years later.

It was always a treat when the incredible HULK  series would come on, we would break the schedule because my dad loved it, and so did I!

The incredible HULK became my instant favorite

I remember pretending to be HULK smashing up stuff and picking up heavy things, of course my mom kept telling me to stop, to which I didn't listen LOL.

I picked a rock, fell and got hurt, my dear mom of course rushed to my side like any loving mom would and... gave me a spanking! SMH!

#sideEye mom #sideEye

My princess obsess girls had never been a fan, until I told them that story. They thought is was very funny, so little by little they start asking questions and I fill them in on all the back stories... How did Hulk became hulk, How did captain Rodgers became Captain America and so on now they are almost MARVEL experts.

So much so when we stopped by Walmart and visited the new MARVEL’s Avengers: Age of Ultron display they went bananas

Little bug is really trying her mean mug superhero face LOL

I wanted the HULK fists but we ended up getting the captain America costume, Iron Man fist, the movie and some snacks.

I had to watch the movie later by myself because I don't think my bugs can handle the chatauris yet... they scare easy LOL

So we created our own  Avenger event at home.

Check out our props:

MARVEL'S: Avenger movie check
Avenger Snacks check
Super Heroes Assemble App check

This is the motion picture LOL

That little boy he is a die hard captain America fan! Wait... no He thinks he is Captain America.

Doesn't he look convincing?

After he suit up he needed a bad guy to defeat...poor mister bear!!!

She called herself Captain Iron Girl LOL

I've never seen Captain America shoots water before but this new Captain does

Yep she shoots water out her her pink whatever thingy LOL

After all this shenanigans I got to watch the first MARVEL'S: Avengers for the nth times, although I can quote most of the movie by now, it still kept me on the edge of my seat. Which why I'm so stokes about seeing the new MARVEL’s Avengers: Age of Ultron tomorrow!

Then the coolest thing happened... Got me even more excited! At the end of the last MARVEL'S Agent of Shield episode the other night Rayna had a vision of the men made of metals flying in and Agent Coulson said: "it's time to bring in the Avengers" referring the MARVEL’s Avengers: Age of Ultron coming up.

My eyes pop out like ooohh it's about to get pumping! oh YEAH!

Are you excited about the new movies? Did you get tickets for opening day? Who are you going to see it with?

Meeting new foods - FL ROMANESCO CAULIFLOWERS

I have a love/hate relationship with my Organic co-op. Sometimes they send me stuff I have no idea what they are. These are called FL ROMANESCO CAULIFLOWER I couldn't find a recipe for them so I made my own.
I call it buttery steamed romanesco cauliflower!
Salt
pepper
paprika
butter
steamed it for about 15 minutes and voila!
It turned out pretty good.  I even got one kid to eat it and loved it, one kid was too full to try, so we'll try again another time.
Do you like cooking new food?
Even things you've never seen before?

Just one of those days..

It's a hard knock life for us!

Today is one of those day, the girls didn't want to wake up, I didn't want to wake up.

If I had a job today is the I would call in sick and stay in bed all day. But my current gig doesn't have that option so I had to make my own today.

Alarm went off, I turn that baby off and we all got some sleep, I drop the girls off  at school 30 minutes late.

I had to do the walk of shame inside the school and go sign the tardy log sheet, but you know what? sometimes it's Okay.

Supermom have to hang the cape up sometimes

That was our first for the year so I don't beat myself up over it.

Now I just need to make the most of the rest of the day.

How's your day going? How you do you handle "difficult" days?

Time Management: Build a routine, Make small changes

Last week I shared about taking control of my schedule.

I have been all over the place,  been very busy but  I don't get anything done.

I'm always doing something important the problem is which important things do I do first?
Among all the important stuff, showers sort of fall in the bottom of list. Don't judge me! Working in pajama is fun, just not as productive as I would like.

Anyway,
I've been making changes I started with something as simple as taking a shower.  Funny right? I find that when I take shower in the morning I give myself the signal that my day has started I get dress packed all my "office" in a Trader Joe's bag and head to the library from 10 o'clock to 1 o'clock.

I have gotten so much done in those few hours I had to pat my back.

I feel so proud of myself of all the stuff I've accomplished for the day, just by taking a shower and leaving the house.

This is a small victory in changing my time wasting habits.

First Make a To-Do list
First thing in the To-do list take a shower!

Happy Friday: Smile you're in Paris

Bonjour Les amies!

Happy Friday!

Hope you all had a good week, mine was a bit eh... Spent a couple days feeling sorry for myself and pity partying but I today I thought I'd snap out of it and embrace a "Paree" state of mind.

Sometimes you just got to encourage yourself.

Hence my snazzy shirt LOL

It's amazing what a fun shirt, cute shoes and a slight change in perspective can do for the morale and not to mention the look.

I'm not usually a fan of printed shirts but something about this Paris and red lip that just makes me happy.

when I saw it I kinda had to have it, and today was the perfect day to pull it out for some much needed snazz.

Besides it's Friday!

What's y'all got cooking for the weekend?

Hola Chicas!
What's cooking?
On my side, it's a DisneySide Party Home celebration.

Remember I shared about my Disney side party box I received from my friends at Disney park?

Well our party in a box transformed into a princess Tea Partay!

***Hold your pinky up and sip tea***

Little girls Tea party is all about the games and activities, short attention span, mixed with excitement turn them to butterfly hoping from one thing to another. So I made sure we had plenty!

Royal everything! Royal barrette making, Royal coloring stage, Royal karaoke, Royal story time, Pin the smile on the Mickey. We had fun and game galore!

I almost forgot the Royal beauty parlor where you can get a Mani followed by pixie dust treat
ment. LOL

You can't have a Disney side party without getting your Frozen on!

Let it go! Let it go!

Oh the tall princess/queen in the shiny dress that would be me.

Queen Mommy is my name "Enchantee"!

The girls watch in awe as I place the bow on Minnie LOL

Minnie was very grateful for her pretty bow, however she told me that she is going to need botox for the first time in her very long life after what I've done to her face LOL

Sorry Minnie! #cakeDecoratingFail

But the party itself was a blast, We had so much fun, the kids are already asking me when can we have another Disney side party?

Soon My darlings, soon!

Time Management: Operation FIX my Life

Time management is ruining me UGH!
I lost my job and I've been home since last May, if you guys remember I shared this before. Which mean I'm on official work at home mom mode.

I do OK I think but the longer I stay home the harder it gets, My projects are pilling up, I'm super busy and it feels like I haven't done a thing!

I'm trying to grow a business which consists of this blog, my eBay store and my JuicePlus/TowerGarden franchise.

Added of course the task of studying for interviews  and looking for a job ministry works and my number job of all: being a MOM.

It sounds like a lot but I manage fine until my time management skills or lack thereof compromise everything.

I hate lists!
I hate to-do lists!
Deadlines and calendars give me the jibbies, as a result things are colliding, I'm extremely busy but nothing is getting done!

SOooooo

Desperate time call for desperate Extreme measures!

I've decided I'm going  there!

I'm making a list, setting up goals and crossing days on the calendars... My brain is going to hate me for all these Typa-A behaviors but it has to be done.

What are some best tactics to stay on top of things?

I need Help!
