How to remain grateful when everything is crappy

How is your gratefulness level?

Some Days being grateful seems unattainable because everywhere you look things look like poo-poo!

You’re getting divorced, you lost your job, the car breaks down, the water heater exploded, the kids are cranky, and you just spilled dinner on the floor.

With a list like that, you are almost certainly entitled to a pity party!

Well yeah, you can have your pity party, sometimes you just have to cry it out!

The key is to NOT dwell in where you are.

How can you remain grateful when everything is crappy like that?

Count your blessings!

No matter how bad things get, you can still find something to be thankful for. You can be thankful for life if anything!

Pr 14:4 says: “Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest.

This is pretty much Bible french for anything worth having in this life is going to come with some crap so to speak!

Could it be that the broken part of your life is simply pointing you toward the treasures you need to be protecting?
Count your blessings!
You have a dirty stable because you have oxen, and you NEED strong ox for a large harvest!

Shift your focus!

…You have a large harvest on the way! Don’t mind the poop!

Faith is powered by focus, so does fear. By shifting your focus to more positives stuff, hope will begin to rise, hope breed Faith and Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen! Heb 11:1

This too shall pass!

No matter how awful it may seem, it will pass! When you find yourself in a hard place, despair and hurt may lengthen times. The nights are long, the days are even longer, it feels like it’s never going to be over but the truth is there is light at the end of the tunnel. There’s a harvest along with the “oxen”!

There’s a grace for each season

You would never know how strong you are if you didn’t do any heavy lifting. You’re stronger than you look! You’re gonna make it!

There’s a grace for that too, whatever that may be!

Praise Him in the storm. Be grateful.

The minute you start to act like life is a blessing, it starts feeling like one

Start acting like it!
