Monday Motivation on Tuesday: Oh Happy Day!!

I remember a few months ago when we adopted Petey from a adoption pet drive. That poor dog was so scared!!

This is him the day after he came home, it took me 40 minutes to get him out of the little corner to go for a walk which was an epic fail.

The first few days was so hard! He didn't want to play he would hide in one little corner and no matter what I do he wouldn't budge.

 scared puppy

The reason is, he's been bounce around from shelter and foster home, he was fearful opening up to his new family. He had to learn that we are his family. He had to stop identifying himself as a rescue puppy and learn to receive the love that his new family is offering.

 carefree

Now he is such a happy and carefree puppy, he knows who he is and whose he is. He loves his home and protect it.

 he is the man

There is nothing that can happen to me that God can't turn into something miraculous.

Petey story for some reason speak so loud to me, I know it doesn't matter where I came from or where I've been or what I've done... I am now in the family of almighty God. I've been rescued, I've been adopted I am part of God family now. There's no need to be fearful and worrysome I've got a home now.

and it's in the loving arms of daddy God!

It's a happy day!

Monday Motivation: Happy Earth Day

Happy Earth Day - Praising God for beautiful Hibiscus!
Sun peering Through

Ps 24:1 "The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein."

Today Is earth day! Like everyday we ought to take care of the place God gave us to live in. We ought be good stewards, not because of global warming or the fear that the earth is gonna crumble one day but just because it's our home and God place us here to take care of it.
Gen 2: 15 "The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it."

Anyhoo, we can't all be farmer and go cultivate the earth, but there are simple things we can do to participate.

Plant something: My girls love planting, we started on the day of spring with seeds now our flowers are just beggining to come out.

A certain man's best freind trample all over them but all is not lost we had some cups also we can replant.

Recycle something: I gotta admit this is not my strong suit, I always forget to separate but by getting the girls involve they keep me accountable.

turn the lights off, don't let the water running... etc

There are tons of simple things we can do together to keep our home nice and clean!

Happy earth day!
What are you doing for earth day? or did you forget?

Monday Motivation On Tuesday: You're doing OK

Good Morning!

Genealogy Of Jesus

Got a little caught up yesterday so we are having our Motivation Monday on Tuesday :)

Whenever I'm feeling inadequate and start to look down on myself I like to visit Matthew 1, where it depict the Genealogy Of Jesus. I't remind me that it's not about me it's not what I think of me but wht God thinks of me, it remind me that I an worth much more and I'm more vualuable than I think. When they enemy start to pound in the condenmation and try to remind me how much a nobody I am, these name I highlighted in the passage are good ways to tell the enemy to Shut UP!

First in the lineage of Jesus (The perfect Son of God) you see Tamar, who is Tamar? she is a woman who pose as a prostitute and tricked her father-in-law into getting her pregnant!
Can you say eeewww!

Then we see Rahab: She wasn't pretending to be a prostitute she was a real one!

Then there's Uriah's wife (Bathsheba) she's the woman king David commited adultery with.

See how God take the most messed up folks and elevated them to be part of His Son birth?

Today if you like me was feeling condenmend about a past or some mistakes or whatever Don't worry about it, God can use it.

You're doing OK!

Monday Motivation: God is a good dad!

Ps 103:13

A few months ago, my oldest baby girl turn 5, for her birthday she asked me for a Lalaloopsy dress, if you don't know what Lalaloopsy is don't fret I didnt know either.

there you have it!lalaloopsy dress
So I did a quick google search for lalaloopsy products, I found a few pajamas from walmart which were out-of-stock, amazon didn't have any so I sadly told her I'm sorry honey, I could find the dress, let pick something else. The day before the birthday, I went out to get party stuff, hats and candles and whatnots, on my way back I saw a marshalls (my favorite place) so I went in, check the shoes rack, browse through the homegoods and made a quick stop by the kids clothes... and what do you know? it's a lalalopsy dress just ONE in my daugther's size! not just some dress with the picture on it, the real thing!

birthday princess in her lalaloopsy dress

I know we sing all the time "How Great is our God" but what a great dad He is? to care about a toys dress, a make beleive dress? and I didn't even have to pray about, I mean you don't go "bother" God about something so trivial right? but He still cares!

I'm just blown away.

God is a good dad! He cares about the littlest details of our lives.

Praise God! Happy Monday!
