Things to know before going on a cruise for your birthday or other fun occasions!
Yesterday post was super tense and hard to write, but I had to. What's the point of going through crap if there's no happy ending to encourage someone?
Although I wouldn't call it a happy "ending" just yet but it a happy moment! For the past 4 years, I've been sulking and not properly celebrating my birthday because of the stuff I talk about here yesterday!
Cause this year, I'll be cruising and doing the couch salsa while writing about it. While we're talking about cruising, I thought I'd share a few things you need to know before you go on a cruise.
What to wear?
This is what I love about cruises, you get to dress however you want and have fun. You can go from super casual beach wear, maxi dresses and flip-flop, or shorts and tank tops to super prom dressy.
This is my absolute favorite part of cruising dressing up for the captain formal dinner and not feel ridiculous.
Don’t forget to pack your gym clothes, at least tennis shoes for a good walk. You gonna want to offset all the yummy food you're going to be eating.
Trust me on this!
Bring first aid kit
I plan on bringing one with us. Just in case.
One time, one of us had a thing, and I think a band-aid from the nursery was like $30.
Motion sickness medicine is always good, cause you never know. I don't usually get motion sickness, but one time it got weird and I a little bit nauseous.
There are differents kind you can buy, like Sea Bands, the little elastics that you wear on your wrists. They press against your pressure points and help keep sea sickness at bay. You can also bring along Bonine or Dramamine, take it before you get on the ship, they help prevent motion sickness. You can also take them if motion sickness strikes.
