Easy and Cheap DIY Fall Wreath to Brighten Your Day
Happy Fall! is that a thing? do people even say "Happy Fall"?
Either way Happy Fall to you!
In my part of the world, there's no seasons. We only have Hot and wet, so I only enjoy my fall vicariously through pumpkin flavored treats and candles, shoes and scarfs and some occasional home decors.
I was thinking of maybe buy a wreath and some other decor stuff, but I haven't gotten around to it.
When I saw my daughter engineering this whatever she was making. I was about to yell at her for wasting her school supply and the pool noodles, but instead my mind met with hers.
Like the saying, if you can't beat them JOIN them!
I wanted to keep her original "design", using a bunch of pencils and markers as connecter we turn the pool noodle into a foam circle sorta. We went through the craft junk and collected some brown shipping paper, orange construction papers, a chalkboard, some tulle and ribbons from my sewing box.
First they wrinkle the shipping paper while I wrap.

Now it's time to decorate! We don't have any real leaf here except for palm leaf and pine needles, we had to make them out of paper.
My attempt at drawing a leaf... I should have let the girls do the writing.
We made a Fall wreath!
Smiles all around!
We had such a great time making our Fall wreath using things laying around the house! Saves me a trip to the store, and provided some much needed mommy and daughter quality time.
PS: If you do decide to make this cute DIY wreath you can buy foam wreath at the craft stores and fake leaf at the dollar tree. The pool noodle is still a good idea but I'd skip the pencils and markers, use a stick or something else as connecter.
Do you decorate for Fall? Do you go all out? Do you buy stuff or make them?
